The Slim is a bit of a happy accident. It was originally meant to be a small, sub 3 inch blade  "gentlemans" or "Borad Room" style folder. Somewhere along the way the origianl drawing was mistranslated to a large folder with a 3 and 7/8 inch blade and a 4 and 7/8 inch handle. my initial reaction was one of iritation. After using the prototype for a while I came to really like the larger folder and found it to be an excellent all around knife. The wharncliffe blade is one of the best multi purpose blade shapes. It can handle long slicing cuts, draw cuts, piercing  etc. It is also one of the best blades for personal defense. Then there is the handle. Its neutral design plus dimension make it excellent in any grip. Then there is the bonus of the ambidexterous deep carry pocket clip along with the snappy flipper quick, decisive blade opening. Add all of this up and you get a superior all purpose folder.
